“But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;” — 2 Timothy 3:14
Every week, young Christians are surrounded by voices that challenge, question, and contradict God's Word. Social media, entertainment, friends, and even culture itself may try to convince you that God's truth is outdated or unnecessary. But Paul's challenge to Timothy was simple: "Continue."
Continue believing God's Word when others doubt it. Continue obeying God's Word when others ignore it. Continue standing on God's Word when others abandon it.
Be careful not to allow a thought, an attitude, a friendship, or a habit to pull your heart away from the truth you have learned. The safest place for your mind, your decisions, and your future is firmly planted upon the unchanging Word of God.
This week, when you face choices and pressures, ask yourself: "Will this draw me closer to God's Word or further away from it?" Then choose to remain anchored to the truth.
Impact Principle
Every thought and action either moves you toward God's Word or away from it—choose this week and every week after that to continue steadfastly in the truth.
