The Apostle Paul wrote, "While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal" (2 Corinthians 4:18).
When we focus on eternity, our daily choices take on new meaning. Every act of obedience matters. Every prayer matters. Every invitation to church matters. Every word of witness matters. Every effort to encourage a friend in Christ matters. What is done for the Lord today can have eternal results tomorrow.
Jesus reminded His followers, "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven" (Matthew 5:16). God has placed us in our workplace, neighborhood, and church for a purpose. We are not there by accident. We are there to shine for Christ and point others to Him.
Don't spend your youth merely counting days—make your days count for eternity. Invest your time in God's Word, serve faithfully in your church, build godly friendships, and look for opportunities to tell others about Jesus. A life intentionally focused on eternity will never be a wasted life. And having eternal focus fuels present faithfulness.
The greatest impact is not measured by how many people know your name, but by how many people are influenced to know Christ because of your life.
Impact Principle: When you live intentionally focused on eternity, your life becomes a tool in God's hand to make an eternal difference in the lives of others.
