What are you seeking most this week? Success? Acceptance? Fun? Recognition? Those things may come and go, but nothing compares with seeking God Himself.
Isaiah said, “My soul shall desire thee” and “with my spirit within me will I seek thee.” That is more than simply knowing about God—it's desiring God, pursuing God, and making Him your priority.
Start each day by seeking Him in His Word and prayer. When you face a decision, seek His wisdom. When you're discouraged, seek His presence. When you're tempted, seek His strength. Don't give God whatever time happens to be left over—give Him your heart!
The exciting thing is that when you sincerely seek the Lord, you will never find Him to be distant or uninterested. He wants you to know Him, walk with Him, and grow in Him.
